During this introduction to the world of writing for Hollywood, all attendees will discuss what a "spec script" is and why/when you might need one, as well as creating original material (i.e., screenplays, teleplays, stageplays, webseries, manuscripts, etc.). We will also discuss the process of registering and/or copyrighting your scripts, how to create a pitch deck, promotions package and how to solicit yourself and your scripts to agents, managers, productions companies and even publishers. - Offered on a monthly basis, with a live marketing event each month - 2 classes and/or self-paced (on-demand) - Part 1 of a 2 part course series (see "Writer This Way" for part 2)
